This update contains all you need to know about the 2018 Petroleum Training Institute (PTI) Recruitment and how to successfully apply for it.
The Petroleum Training Institute (PTI) is located in Effurun, Delta State. It was set up with the objective of providing courses of instruction, training and research in oil and gas technology and to provide technicians and such other personnel normally required for the Oil and Gas Industry.
The Institute hereby invites applications from suitably qualified Nigerians to fill the following vacant positions:
- Security Guards
- Laboratory Attendants
- Workshop Attendants
- Clinic Attendants
- Clerical Staff
- Motor Drivers
- Hostel Porters
- Library Attendants
- Artisans: Plumbing, Electrical, Mechanical, Carpentering, air—conditioning artisans
- Fire-truck operators.
Terms of Appointment and Conditions of Service
The appointment is a full—time appointment and shall be on probation for twenty four (24) months.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
All interested candidates are expected to possess the below listed qualifications:
- West African School Certificate (WASC)/General Certificate of Education (GCE)/Nati0nal Examination Council (NECO) Senior School Certificate (SSC)/Nationa1 Business and Technical Education Board (NABTEB) certificates or their recognized equivalents with a minimum of five credits including English and Mathematics at not more than two sittings
- City and Guilds (C&G) certificates in relevant trades, Trade Tests I—III in relevant trades.
- Relevant experience in the related area will be an added advantage.

Applicants are required to submit their applications online by visiting the PTI website www.pti.edu.ng, click “Recruitment” on the “DIPTI ZONE” tab and complete the online recruitment application form. The online application form can be accessed from any internet enabled computer system. Applicants are advised to follow the online instructions and complete the application.
