The relationship between Antonio Conte and Chelsea FC seems to be hanging by a loose thread. The fact is that the relationship is destroyed and sooner or later the Chelsea coach might receive his sack letter.
With each passing match day, it seems Conte would be let go at the end of the season. Chelsea has been below form, and it has shown in their previous matches, the straw that seemed to break the camel back was the draw against Leicester City on Saturday at Stamford Bridge.
This was the clubs third draw in a row, this is way below expectations, if they are to still be contenders for the coveted EPL cup title, but it seems they might not be raising that cup anytime in the nearest future.
It is being rumoured that Massimiliano Allegri and Maurizio Sarri might be coming into Chelsea to replace the current coach Antonio Conte.
The clubs performance on Saturday was totally horrible although the club has only lost one game in r last 18 matches being unbeaten in 10 and still contenders in all the four competitions they still have nothing spectacular to show.
A lot of persons are already of the opinion that Conte is no longer welcome in Arsenal, perhaps if he focused more on building his team rather than keeping up the war going on between him and united boss Jose Mourinho, Chelsea FC might be able to do something worth the records.
Note that Conte would not be the first coach to be sacked by Chelsea; Carlo Ancelotti was also in Chelsea with an un-decided fate until he was sacked on the final day of the season. Could this also be the fate of Antonio Conte?
Be informed that Conte has only a year left in Chelsea according to the terms on his contract but he (Conte) has said that anything is possible. He might have a future at Stamford Bridge or somewhere else, but he would definitely continue to do what he loves doing.
Alexis Sanchez agrees to United offer
The Chelsea Board are not happy with Conte, he has not been displaying them in a positive light and this might also result to his quick sack.
If Antonio Conte ends up leaving the club, this would be the 8th coach in 8 years for the club.
Can Chelsea survive all this or do they really need Jose Mourinho back at the hem of affairs?
Jose Mourinho interested in signing Ozil before the close of the transfer window
Jonathan Northcroft said this to the Sunday Times’
This has happened to every Chelsea manager in the Roman Abramovich era and they have always failed to build on success and create permanence, there has never been a sense of the manager leading the club in the way that Pep Guardiola is leading Manchester City or Fergie led Manchester United.
At some point that’s why winning teams drop off or fall apart because the players don’t get that feeling of carrying on and continuing and they almost need that new manager to come in and give them a jolt, it’s a cycle.
