As stated by the examination body on X – The West African Examinations Council is pleased to inform candidates who sat WASSCE for school candidates, 2024 that the result has officially been released today, Monday, 12th August 2024.

What does Indebted in WAEC Result Mean?
It simply means that your state has not paid WAEC the agreed amount that allowed you write the exam, as a result the results where seized. The West African Examination Council (WAEC) has stated that the results of candidates who are sponsored by states indebted to the council will not be released now until payment is made.
What does Outstanding mean in WAEC Result?
An “outstanding” result happens when a student’s mark on his/her subjects is not yet concluded. This can be caused by various factors such as errors made by candidate during registration, an extra answer sheet not being properly attached among others.
In most cases, after the issues has been resolved the candidates result will be released.
