Info Padi present to you the complete list of Europe’s leading goal-scorers from the top leagues. The list is arranged according to the number of goals multiplied by each league’s factor.

The European football league has past the mid-way point for this season and we decided to take a tally of all the top scorers across the major leagues and possibly who will be this season’s Golden Shoe winner.

The European Golden Shoe was awarded to Barcelona top player, Lionel Messi last season after scoring 34 goals and it seems the player would be defending his title this season.

Golden Shoe 2018/19 Top Contenders

  1. Lionel Messi (Barcelona)- 29 goals

Messi has scored 29 goals this league season. It is quite clear that he would be the top goal scorer in Spain this season as his main rival Ronaldo chose to continue his football career at Juventus.

  1. Kylian Mbappe (PSG)- 26 goals

The young man who won the World Cup with the France team had a great start in league one, he made history after scoring four goals in 13 minutes against Lyon last year October. He also scored a hat-trick against Guingamp in January, 2019.

  1. Fabio Quagliarella (Sampdoria)- 21 goals

Fabio is a veteran international player from Italy. Despite his age the player is in great form and keeps scoring goals.

The player is 10 goals behind Lionel Messi. It took him some time to settle in his new club Juventus, but the player has gained balance and is back to his scoring self.
