How to Register/ Apply for BOI Rapid Empowerment Program
The registration for the BOI Rapid Empowerment Program is online and is absolutely free of charge, so applicants should take note of this before becoming prey in the hand of fraudsters. The Bank of Industry BOI has initiated a new Empowerment program called the Rural Area Programme On Investment for Development (RAPID) and is calling on all interested applicants to apply for the program via the application link below.

About Rapid
The objective of the programme is to provide financial support to enterprises located in rural and economically disadvantaged areas of our economy. This will ensure that resources flow to these communities from entrepreneurial activities that will provide employment, improve standard of living, contribute to gross domestic product (GDP), promote capacity and skill development, tame insecurity arising from youth restiveness and unemployment.
Eligibility Criteria
Duly registered Enterprises and Cooperative Societies operating in rural or economically disadvantaged areas of Nigeria are eligible to apply.
What types of businesses does RAPID support?
RAPID shall provide support in value-adding activities excluding trading and farming. These include activities in manufacturing, agribusiness, processing, and other ventures contributing to economic diversification and job creation in rural areas.
RAPID Financial Support
The management of RAPID Programme has announced that beneficiaries would be eligible for a loan of a maximum of N10 million to acquire plants/machinery and raw materials for their day-to-day operations.

- Acceptable Means of Identification: BVN and NIN
- Proof of Residential Address
- Completed Guarantor Forms
