Basic Entry Requirements
To apply for the Nigerian Army 91RRI recruitment :
- Applicant must be single, Nigerian citizen by birth, and must possess
- National Identity Card (NIN) and Bank Verification Number (BVN) Slip.
- The name and date of birth on the NIN must correspond with those on the BVN and all other credentials.
- Applicant must be medically, physically and psychologically fit in accordance with Nigerian Army Standard.
- Applicant must have no criminal conviction by any court of competent jurisdiction.
- Applicant must possess at least a minimum of 4 passes, including English Language, in not more than two sittings in WASSCE/GCE/NECO/NABTEB/NBAIS.
- In addition to the above qualifications, those applying as tradesmen/women must also possess a TRADE TEST/CITY AND GUILD CERTIFICATE.
- Applicant must possess a valid birth Certificate endorsed by the National Population Commission, Hospital or local government council. Age declaration endorsed by a competent court can also suffice.
- Applicant must not be less than 18 and 22 years for non-tradesmen and women, while tradesmen and women must not be more than 26 years by 30th June 2026.
- Applicant must not be less than 1.68 metres and 1.65 metres tall for males and females candidates respectively.
- Applicants must apply using their State of Origin and not State of Residence.
- Applicant must possess a valid Certificate of State of Origin.
