Nigerian Army 90RRI Recruitment Application Form Portal 2025/2026 –Requirements and How to Apply

This is to inform the general public and all interested candidates that the online application for 90 Regular Recruits Intake for trades/Non-tradesmen and women application has started and ends on 14th November, 2025. The application is absolutely Free!

This article will give you all the information you need about the recruitment link and portal, eligibility, requirements and how to apply.

About 90RRI

The “90RRI” refers to the 90th Regular Recruits Intake of the Nigerian Army.

The NA recruitment new intake is divided into two categories:

  • Non-Tradesmen/Women – candidates who do not possess vocational or trade skills but have the basic academic qualifications.
  • Tradesmen/Women – candidates who possess trade or vocational skills alongside the required educational background.

Basic Requirements / Qualifications

Below are the typical requirements needed to apply for 90 Regular Recruits Intake (RRI) of the Nigerian Army.

  • Applicants must be single and Nigerian citizen by birth, and must possess National Identity Card/NIN and BVN print out.
  • All applicants must possess a minimum of 4 passes including English Language in not more than 2 sittings in WASCE / GCE / NECO / NABTEB and NBAIS.
  • In addition to the above qualifications, those applying as trades men/women must also possess Trade Test / City and Guild Certificate. Details are available on the website.
  • Applicants must be medically, physically and psychologically fit in accordance with Nigerian Army standards.
  • Applicants must be free of any criminal conviction by the court of law.
  • Applicants must possess a valid birth certificate endorsed by the National Population Commission, Hospital or Local Government Council, or age declaration.
  • Applicants must possess a valid certificate of state of origin.
  • Applicants must not be less than 1.68 metres and 1.65 metres tall for male and female candidates respectively.
  • An applicant must not be less than 18 years or more than 22 years for non-trades men/women, while trades men/women must not be more than 26 years as at 30 Dec 25.
  • Interested candidates are advised to log on to the NA recruitment website https://recruitment.army.mil.ng to complete online registration from 29 Sep – 14 Nov 25.

General Instructions

  • Candidates are to note that there will be no Pre Selection Computer Based Test.
  • No special centre for recruitment.
  • There will be no Zonal Screening Exercise.
  • All screening of potential recruits will be conducted at the candidates’ respective state of origin.
  • Candidates are not to bring electronic or recording devices to the venue of the State Recruitment Exercise.
  • Tattoo, Piercing or Inscription on any part of the body other than tribal marks are not allowed.
  • Candidates must tender all original copies of educational certificates (primary to secondary)
  • Multiple piercing of ears for female are not allowed.
  • Candidates must not belong to any cult/society/fraternity.
  • Any candidate who falsifies or forges his/her results and is discovered even during training at Depot NA will be withdrawn from training.
  • Candidates are advised in their own interest not give any form of gratification or inducement to any person or group of persons to assist them in the recruitment exercise.
  • Candidates are to come with their NIN slip and BVN print out.
  • Candidates are advised to carefully study the instruction on the website or call the following support lines if in doubt: 07036499094 and 09041116433.
  • Names of shortlisted candidates for screening will be published on the NA website for awareness of all candidates.
  • Shortlisted candidates are expected to report to their respective states of origin for the screening exercise from 4 – 17 Dec 25.
  • Recruitment into the Nigerian Army is “FREE”.

How to Apply for Nigerian Army 90RRI Recruitment

Below is a step-by-step guide to what to expect and how to apply:

Step 1. Visit the Official Portal

  • Go to www.recruitment.army.mil.ng

  • On the portal, look for “Start Your Application,”

Step 2. Register an Account

  • If you are a first-time user, sign up with a valid email address, create a password, and possibly verify via email.
  • If you already have an account from earlier recruitment cycles (if still valid), you may log in.

Step 3. Fill Out the Online Application Form

  • Select whether you are applying for a trade or non-trade position.

  • Upload all required documents (scanned or digital): birth certificate, state of origin, educational certificates, trade certificate (if applicable), NIN slip, BVN printout, photograph, etc.

  • You may also be required to fill in guarantor/referee details (name, address, phone, signature). Some forms require downloading a separate Guarantor Form to be signed offline.

Step 4. Review and Submit

  • Carefully check that all information is correct (no typos, matching names/dates across documents).

  • Submit the application.

  • After submission, print or download the acknowledgement slip or confirmation slip. Also print the Guarantor Form if required.

Application Instructions

  • Interested candidates should apply using the link above. When the page opens, create a user account to enable you login. Your username must be a functional email.
  • Log on to the above-mentioned link using the username and password.
  • Complete the application form, submit online and print a copy. Then print, and complete the Guarantor Form as appropriate.
  • Ensure you bring duly signed copies of the application and Guarantor form to the designated state recruitment centres

Application Deadline 

The management of Nigerian Army has announced 14th November 2025 as the latest closing date for the 2025/2026 NA 90RRI online registration. Thus, NA application portal will be closed on 14th November 2025.

Kindly note the following information

  • All documents will be verified from the appropriate issuing authorities
  • All those with fake documents will be handed over to the police for prosecution
  • Candidates are to note that there will be no Pre-Selection Computer Based Test.
  • No Special centre for recruitment.
