Nigerian Army DSSC Course 28/2024 Recruitment Selection Screening Date- We wish to inform the general public that the Selection Board for Direct Short Service Commission Course (DSSC) 28/2024 recruitment screening date is now out. All successful applicant are to report to HQ 2 Division Nigerian Army, Ibadan, Oyo State from 11-24 March 2024.

According to management, Candidates are to report to the Selection Board venue on 11 March 2024 between 8 am
Items to Come with for Nigerian Army DSSC Course 28/2024 Selection Screening Exercise
Applicants are to come with the following items below:
a. Writing materials including ruler and eraser.
b. Three (3) pairs of plain white short-sleeved vests.
c. Three (3) pairs of navy blue shorts.

d. Canvas shoes/trainers and white socks.
e. Toiletries.
f. A set of cutlery including plates and drinking cups.
g. Beddings; to include, blankets, bedspreads and pillow cases etc.
h. Four(4) copies of full-size colored photographs of a standing position in a suit.
Additional Instructions:
1. The Selection Exercise will involve physical, medical, and academic tests as well as an oral interview for all candidates.
2. Candidates will be required to produce original and duplicate copies of the following:
a. All academic/ professional certificates including testimonials, NYSC discharge, or valid Exemption Certificate as applicable in a file packet.
b. Certificate of ordination for candidates seeking Chaplain(Protestant Roman Catholic).
c. Certificate of Call to Bar for candidates seeking Directorate of Legal Services.
d. Valid birth certificate as endorsed by the National Population Commission, hospital, and Local Government Council of birth or valid age declaration.
e. Valid certificate of state of origin.

f. Military Identity Card (military personnel only).
g. Letter of recommendation by Commanding Officers/Commanders( military personnel only).
h. Letter of sponsorship in a tertiary academic institution (military personnel only ).
i. Printed Bank Verification Number (BVN) certificate authenticated by a bank as well NIN enrolment ship.
j. Completed copies of printouts from the DSSC portal including referee forms. 5. Candidates are to note that any alteration to their documents will render such documents invalid.
3. Candidates will be fed and accommodated throughout the Selection Board.
4. Candidates will be responsible for their transportation to and from the Selection Board.
5. The use of personal /private vehicles by candidates is strictly prohibited throughout the Selection Board.
6. Visitors will not be allowed throughout the Selection Board.

7. Shortlisted DSSC 28/2024 candidates are to report at the Headquarters 2 Division Nigerian Army, Ibadan. Oyo State on 11 March 2024 from 8 am – 11 am.
8. Candidates who arrive after 11 am on 11 March 2024 will be disqualified.
9. A high standard of discipline is expected from all candidates. Candidates who violate any instruction during the Selection Board will be disqualified.
