National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA) has the mandate of developing and regulating Information Technology (IT) in Nigeria.
The agency has kept to its promise for the 2018/2019 Scholarship Year, as they have awarded 49 Scholarships for Masters and Doctoral Degrees in relevant areas of ICT and ICT Law through a competitive merit based process.
According to the report- One Scholar was selected per State, including the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) at Masters Level and one Scholar per Geo- Political Zone of the country at Doctoral Level and MSc ICT Law.

Benefits/Prizes of NITDA Scholarship
The Scholars were awarded full scholarship which includes tuition fee, accommodation and living expenses. The entire Management and Staff of the Agency congratulate them on their success and wish them best of luck in their respective fields of study.
NITDA Scholarship Minimum Requirements for PhD and MSc Applicants
PhD: Lecturers in Universities, Polytechnics and Colleges of Education with MSc in any computer and information technology related field are eligible to apply for sponsorship.
MSc: Holders of First Class or Second Class (upper) Honor Bachelor’s degree, (BSc) in computer and information technology related field and law are eligible to apply for sponsorship.
