The aim of the NNPC Renaissance University Scholarship is to promote academic excellence among Nigerian undergraduates while also developing their skill sets.
Scholarship Worth
The NNPC-RENAISSANCE JV University Scholarship is a ₦200,000 award offered to undergraduate students of Nigerian universities to support their academic excellence.

The NNPC-RENAISSANCE JV University Scholarship is in two categories :
- National Merit Award (NM) – Open to all Nigerians
- Areas of Operation Merit Award – Open to Nigerians who are indigenes of Renaissance’s operational areas in Bayelsa, Delta, Imo, and Rivers.
Requirements for NNPC-RENAISSANCE JV University Scholarship
There are mandatory requirements applicants must possess to be eligible for NNPC-RENAISSANCE JV University Scholarship.
- Candidate must be citizens of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
- Candidate must be registered FULL-TIME undergraduates in an accredited University in Nigeria.
- Candidate must not be a beneficiary of any other scholarship from an entity operating in the Oil and Gas Industry, national or international.
- Evidence of being in 200 Level, with proof of admission into an undergraduate programme in the 2023/2024 academic session
Important Information:
- RENAISSANCE and Its Joint Venture partners DO not demand payment from applicants. The application is entirely FREE of charge.
- RENAISSANCE and its Joint Venture partners DO not assign ‘Representatives’/ ‘Agents’ to assist applicants or facilitate the application process.
- Applications open on the 20th of June 2025 and close on the 25th of July 2025.
- Only shortlisted candidates will be invited for the proctored computer-based test.
- Only successful candidates at each selection stage will be contacted.
- Applications must be processed ONLY through the Renaissance African Energy Company website.

1. Passport photograph with white background not more than 3 months old (450px by 450px)
2. School ID card
3. University or JAMB (UTME or D/E) Admission letter
4. JAMB Result
5. 2023/2024 Transcript (100 level Result)
6. Letter of Identification from State (Showing Local Government of Origin)

- When asked to upload a photo, upload a passport photograph with a white background.
