NNPC / SNEPCo National University Scholarship 2026 Application Guides and Deadline
The Shell Nigeria Exploration and Production Company Limited (SNEPCo), on behalf of itself, Nigerian National Petroleum Company (NNPC) Limited, and its co-venture partners, hereby invites applications from qualified Nigerian students for the 2026 NNPC – SNEPCo National University Scholarship Programme.
Aim and Purpose
The programme aims at promoting academic excellence and improving the skills of young Nigerians. It provides a yearly grant to the successful applicants from their second year to the completion of their undergraduate degree programme.
The merit-based scholarship is open to FULL TIME undergraduates studying in Public Universities within Nigeria.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must:
- Be a Nigerian citizen.
- Currently in their second year of full-time study in a Public Nigerian University accredited by the NUC.
- Have a minimum CGPA of 3.5 in a 5-grade system or the equivalent in other grade systems; and
- Not be a beneficiary of any other scholarship from an entity in the Oil and Gas industry, National or International.
Female candidates are strongly encouraged to apply
Eligible undergraduate students studying in National Universities Commission (NUC) accredited courses in public Nigerian universities are invited to submit an electronic application at https://candidate.scholastica.ng/schemes/NNPCLTDSNEPCo26.

Application Guidelines
If you meet the eligibility criteria and are interested in applying for NNPC / SNEPCo National University Scholarship 2026, follow these steps to apply:
- Visit the official application portal at https://candidate.scholastica.ng/schemes/NNPCLTDSNEPCo26.
- Click on the ‘Apply Now’ tab and select ‘Register Now’ to create an account.
- Check your email inbox and activate the account through the confirmation link.
- Return to the scholarship portal and log in with your registered email address and password.
- Fill in the required personal, educational and other information, including your National Identification Number, if available.
- Upload scanned copies of the required documents, including your admission letter, UTME result, O’Level results, state of origin identification letter and academic records.
- Download the government official declaration form, complete it correctly and upload it alongside the other required documents.
- Ensure that the names on your application correspond with those on your supporting documents. Applicants with differences in their names are required to provide an affidavit or certificate.
- Review all uploaded documents to ensure they are clear and correct. The passport photograph must have a white background.
- Return to the ‘Active Scholarships’ section, select the NNPC-SNEPCo scholarship and click ‘Apply Now’ to submit the application.
- Check for the confirmation notification displayed on the screen and sent to your email to establish that the application was successful.
- Log in to your Scholastica account, download your application profile, have it signed by your Head of Department and upload a scanned copy for verification.
Application Deadline
Applications should be submitted on or before NOVEMBER 30TH, 2026.
Note: Examination details will be communicated to shortlisted candidates only.
If awarded the scholarship, you cannot transfer the offer to another university or course of study.
