Some public university students all over Nigeria are getting ready to return to school from the 18th of January, 2021.
Students have been sitting at home for over 10 months, since March 20, 2020 till date. All this is about to change as students are set to resume soon.
This is because various school management have set the time for new academic session to begin for the 2021/2022 session/ year.
The Senate of each school will determine when the school will resume and some school senate have had the meeting while others have set time for their own meeting.
Universities have been shut down since because of the coronavirus and also ASUU strike.

Bayero University Kano (BUK)
The Senate in Bayero University Kano will begin new academic session on January 18, 2021 and their second semester will be May 3, 2021.
University of Benin (UNIBEN)
The management of University of Benin, Edo state has asked both old and new students to resume school from the 30th of January, 2021.
UNIBEN 2019/2020 academic session first semester will run until April 1, 2021 while the second semester will start on April 5, 2021.
Lecture will start on the 1st of February, 2021.
Meanwhile, fresh students are to start their clearance online from 5th of February to 30th of April and orientation will start on the 3rd of May, 2021
The school has announced that there will be e-learning and student should try and get smart phones.
All students are to follow the Covid 19 protocol strictly and those that are sick, should treat themselves before they resume.
Student are to also fill form online and submit to the Dean of Student Affairs
University of Lagos and LASU
No date has been fixed yet. However, final year students are allowed to come to school while other levels will join later after a date has been approved by the school senate.
