BRISIN Recruitment/Registration update- We will like to inform the general public that the Nigerian Federal Government has recently extended the deadline for the Basic Registry and Information System in Nigeria(BRISIN) recruitment application. The new closing date for BRISIN Registration/ Recruitment is November 22nd, 2018.

A lot of persons are worried if BRISIN is a scam, this is probably because of the below reasons.

Many applicants have complained about how difficult it is to access the site of the Basic Registry and Information System of Nigeria (BRISIN) barely weeks after the portal was allegedly launched.

It also raised some dust when it was discovered that the registration requires all applicants to fill in their basic details, and proceed to make an online payment of N1000 for processing fee before they can continue with the application process. Some persons paid but couldn’t access the site after payment.

Dr Anthony Uwa, the Head of BRISIN implementation in Nigeria, told Journalists in Abuja that the extension was to enable all intending applicants to register.

According to the director of BRISIN:” The application was scheduled to last for six weeks; from September 27th to November 8th, 2018 but due to some technical challenges beyond our control, the portal was short down for about two weeks within which applicants could not register.

” We have decide to extend the application for another two weeks till Nov. 22 after which the screening exercise will commence immediately.

” One of the essence of this recruitment is to enable all unemployed Nigerians to be captured on a centralised data base to ensure that all jobs created are verifiable. And it is also meant to reduce favouritisms in job selection.

” Therefore, the extension of the deadline will enable all unemployed Nigerians to have the opportunity to be captured and be gainfully employed.”
