The Nigeria Police recently released all the names of successful candidates, who passed the nationwide recruitment examination conducted by the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB).
The Nigeria Police have invited, for medical screening, candidates who passed the nationwide recruitment examination.
As directed by the security agency via the list published on the official Nigeria police website, https://psc.org.ng/candidateslist/, all the successful candidates are expected to go for their screening at the zonal police headquarters in their respective state of origin between May 31 and June 3, 2018.
Information reaching us is that out of the 37,000 candidates who sat for the 2018 POLICE JAMB examination, only 5,253 candidates were shortlisted for the medical screening exercise.
The state with the highest number of successful candidates is Kano State. Kano had the highest number of 308 candidates who made the recruitment process to the screening stage.
Katsina State comes second with 238 candidates making it to the screening stage.
Other states with high numbers includes, Oyo with 225 candidates, Akwa Ibom with 194 candidates Borno State with 189 candidates, Jigawa state also has the same number as Borno State ( 189 successful candidates).
Abia State had 114 candidates, Adamawa State 140 candidates , Anambra State 146 candidates .Bauchi State 133 candidates, Benue State 157 candidates, Cross River State 122 candidates, Delta State 166 candidates, Ebonyi State 91 candidates, Edo State 125 candidates, Enugu State 119 candidates, Imo State 181 candidates, Kaduna State 161 candidates, Kebbi State 144 candidates, Kogi State 140 candidates, Kwara State 110 candidates, Lagos State 136 candidates, Niger State 169 candidates, Ogun state 140 candidates, Ondo State 125 candidates, Osun State 211 candidates, Plateau State 116 candidates, Rivers State 138 candidates, Sokoto State 161 candidates, Taraba State 112 candidates, Yobe State 110 candidates, Zamfara State 99 candidates
FCT Abuja, Bayelsa State, Gombe State, Ekiti State had low successful candidates with 42, 54, 75 and 84 candidates making it to the final screening stage respectively.
