ECOWAS Young Graduate Recruitment Program 2024. The ECOWAS Investment and Development Bank (IBDC), the financial arm of the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS), is an international financial institution from the 15 ECOWAS member States, Benin, Burkina Faso, Cape Verde, Côte d’Ivoire, Gambia, Ghana, Guinea, Guinea-Bissau, Liberia, Mali, Niger, Nigeria, Senegal, Sierra Leone. Its headquarters are in Lomé, Togo.

ECOWAS Young Graduate Recruitment Program 2024

The recruitment programme for young graduates targets high-level graduates under the age of thirty (30) at the time of recruitment. The selected candidates will be appointed for young professionals in training at the Bank for a fixed-term contract (CDD) of two (2) years.

Eligibility conditions

Candidates from ECOWAS countries who are nationals of ECOWAS countries may apply for this programme:

  • be at most 30 years of age at the time of recruitment;
  • Hold a baccalaureate diploma of baccalaureate 5 (MASTER, DESS) or an equivalent degree in accordance with the Bank’s operations, including private sector operations, public sector operations, infrastructure, risk management, asset/liability management, finance, audit, legal advice, communication and marketing, language services, or in any other field of study relevant to the Bank’s operations;
  • be able to work as a team and under pressure in a multicultural context;
  • have a good capacity for analysis and synthesis, a sense of organisation, planning and priority setting;
  • have a good command of techniques for looking for relevant information (bank analysis, statistics, monitoring of competitive trends, etc.), from external sources, mainly electronic sources and other professionally recognised media;
  • have a good command of office tools (Excel, Word, Access and Power Point);
  • have an excellent ability to communicate in French and/or English and/or Portuguese, and a good knowledge of one of the other two languages).
