Fulbright Foreign Language Teaching Assistant (FLTA) program
U.S. Mission Nigeria is pleased to announce the annual call for applications for the Fulbright Foreign Language Teaching Assistant (FLTA) program 2022/2023. The FLTA program is designed to offer young foreign teachers an opportunity to teach Yoruba or Hausa language and culture to American students in universities and colleges.

Application Requirements:
Applicants must be currently teaching and graduates who have received their bachelor’s degree in English language, Education, Linguistics, Yoruba, Hausa or Languages.

Closing Date for Fulbright Foreign Language Teaching Assistant (FLTA) program
The applications will close on the 1st of June 2022.
As part of the Fulbright Foreign Student Program, the Fulbright FLTA Program is designed to develop Americans’ knowledge of foreign cultures and languages by supporting teaching assistantships in over 30 languages at hundreds of U.S. institutions of higher education. The program offers educators from over 50 countries the opportunity to develop their professional skills and gain first-hand knowledge of the U.S., its culture and its people.
