The Kaduna State Power Supply Company (KAPSCO) is seeking to employ individuals of significant credibility, competence and experience to contribute to the development of the State though the activities of the company.
Qualified individuals should make use of this opportunity and apply for the following vacant positions listed below;
Only Second Class Upper Degrees or equivalent from recognized institutions will be considered.
Persons above the age of 40 need not apply.
Evidence of course/registration with professional bodies will be an added advantage.
The recruitment is in 4 categories, carefully go through the categories and available positions and apply for the one that best suits your qualifications.

CATEGORY 1
a. Chief Monitoring and Evaluation Officer GL13
Degree in Engineering, Quantity Surveying or related field with minimum of 7 years work experience in energy related projects. A Masters Degree and registration with professional bodies are added advantage.
b. Public Relations Officer GL8
Degree or HND in Mass Communication with minimum 3 years work experience. Experience with online/social media is an added advantage.
Must be ICT literate/skilled.
c. Director (Operations) GL16
Requirement: Degree in Engineering with excellent leadership and communication skills. A minimum of 5 years previous experience in a similar senior management position is desirable. Must be ICT literate/skilled. Masters Degree is an added advantage.
d. Director (Corporate Services) – GL16
Requirement:Degree in Law or Business Administration with at least 5 years work related experience. Must be ICT literate/skilled. Experience in administrative procedures and Masters Degree is added advantage.
CATEGORY 2
e. Confidential Secretary – GL08
Requirement: Degree or HND in Information Technology, Computer Science, or OfficeManagement with 2 years work experience.
f. Deputy Director, Admin & Finance Division – GL15
Requirements: Degree in Accounting or Social Sciences with minimum of 10 years working experience. Candidate must have ICAN or ANAN.
Masters Degree in a related field will be considered as an added advantage. Must be ICT literate/skilled.

g. Procurement Officer – GL08
Requirement: First Degree or HND in a related area with 2 years relevant work experience. Must be ICT literate/skilled. Excellent negotiation skills are an added advantage.
h. Admin Officer – GL08
Requirement: Degree or HND with the minimum of Zero (0) to three (3) Years Post qualification experience.
CATEGORY 3
i. Deputy, Engineering Division – GL15
Requirement: Degree in Engineering. Registered Professional Certificates – i.e. COREN, NIQS, NSE, etc. 7-10 years of experience in relevant disciplines.
j. Higher Technical Officer (Energy Efficiency) – GL08
Requirement: Degree or HND in a relevant subject area and ideally will have undertaken energy management/monitoring. Understanding of metering infrastructure is an added advantage. Minimum of 1-2 years experience.
k. Higher Technical Officer (Renewable Energy) – GL08
Requirement: Degree or HND in a relevant subject area and ideally will have undertaken a renewable energy project. Minimum of 1-2 years experience.
l. Chief Technical Officer (Solar Energy Specialist) – GL13
Requirement: Degree in Engineering, or Sciences, or any other subject with a strong experience in solar technology. Minimum 2 years of work experience.
m. Information System Specialist – GL08
Degree in Information Technology or equivalent science relating to Computer Studies is considered mandatory. Minimum 2 years of work experience.
n. Principal Electrical Engineer – Gl12
Requirement: Degree in Electrical Engineering with a minimum of 3 years work experience. Must be ICT literate/skilled. Registration with professional body is an added advantage.
o. Principal Mechanical Engineer – GL12
Requirement: Degree in Mechanical Engineering with a minimum of 3 years work experience. Must be ICT literate/skilled. Registration with professional body is an added advantage.
p. Principal Civil Engineer – GL12
Requirement: Degree in Civil Engineering with a minimum of 3 years work experience. Must be ICT literate/skilled. Registration with a professional body is an added advantage.
CATEGORY 4
q. Commercial Officer – GL09
Degree (B.SC or H.N.D) in Marketing, Social Sciences or any relevant field. Minimum of 2 years field experience in sales and marketing.
