NEW JAMB CAPS Admission: How to Accept or Reject Admission Offers on Caps

The general public especially all JAMB candidates are hereby informed about the recent update regarding JAMB CAPS and know if they are admitted as well as know how to either accept or reject a certain course given. So make sure you stay put. Take your time and read through this article carefully to avoid mistakes.

What is JAMB CAPS

JAMB CAPS is a platform in JAMB portal that allows candidates looking for admission in any institution; University, Polytechnic, College of Nursing and College of Education to monitor their admission and Accept or Reject Admission when given.

When you have been offered admission, you can only Accept the admission when you like the course given but if you don’t want the course and there is a chance for a new one to be given to you that is after you have rejected it.

It is quite obvious that some candidates don’t know how to accept or reject admission to the JAMB CAPS. Don’t worry,this article will  give you all the necessary guides and information you need.

Step-by-Step Guides on How to Accept or Reject Admission on JAMB CAPS

  • First, visit JAMB Portal @ www.efacility.jamb.gov.ng/jamb-caps
  • Login with your details; your Email address used for the JAMB registration and JAMB Password, it could be found in the Email also.
  • Click on Check Admission Status after a successful login
  • Click on Access JAMB CAPS – it will take you to JAMB CAPS portal immediately.
  • Click on Admission to see the course given
  • Use either of the options: ACCEPT or REJECT Button
  • Immediately and SMS would be sent to your Phone Number, the one you used in generating your profile code. Or you can request for the code via 55019 or 66019.
  • Input the Code sent to your Phone number to accept or reject.

Note: Once you reject the admission, it is over, unless the school gives you another course, if not… it will be a very big challenge probably wait for the next year to enroll.

There is need to be very careful to avoid clicking the wrong one instead of Accept, you click on Reject.

I have lost my SIM Card used in getting the Profile Code, What Should I do?
