Nigerian Prison Service (NPS) and Nigeria Fire Service (NFS) Recruitment Latest Update on Shortlisted Candidates

CDIFB Recruitment – Nigeria Prison Service (NPS) and Nigeria Fire Service Recruitment update is out regarding the number of shortlisted persons.

The Federal Government has given approval for the Nigeria Prisons Service and Fire Service to employ about 10,000 Nigerians. This means only about ten thousand Nigerians will be shortlisted. See full details below.

The two agencies were directed to carry out the employment by the Civil Defence, Fire, Immigration and Prisons Services Board.

The Federal Government of Nigeria has directed the Nigeria Prisons Service and the Federal Fire Service to employ 9,675 Nigerians.

The NPS Shortlist will soon be out, but we will like to inform you that according to the directives from the Nigerian government, the Nigeria Prison Service can only shortlist Seven Thousand Four Hundred and Seventy Five persons (7,475). We will notify you as soon as the NPS shortlist is out.

Nigeria Fire Service Recruitment Update- List of Shortlisted Candidates 2019

The Civil Defence, Fire, Immigration and Prisons Services Board has given approval for the Fire Service to recruit Two Thousand Two Hundred (2200) persons. The NFS shortlist will contain approximately 2200 names. We will notify you as soon as the shortlist is out.

A statement signed by the Secretary of the board, Al-Hassan Yakmut, said the chairman of CDFIPB gave the approval at the board’s meeting held between May 9 and May 10 in Abuja.

It was not immediately clear when the recruitment processes will start.

“The meeting also approved the recruitment of 2,200 candidates into the federal fire service, and 7,475 candidates into the Nigeria Prisons Service.

“Dambazau wishes the candidates a successful career in the services and pledges commitment of the board to ensuring adequate pre-deployment training,’’ he said.
