Are you among the NPower beneficiaries who are yet to receive their monthly payment?

This update is for those who have not received their March, 2019 salary.

The Senior Special Assistant to the President on Job Creation and Youth Empowerment , Mr. Afolabi Imoukhuede , in a press release assured NPower beneficiaries that they would get their March stipend this week.

NPower Monthly Salary Update 2019

The N -Power Scheme is linked to Federal Government ’s economic , employment and social development policies .
It addresses the challenges of youth unemployment by providing a structure for large scale and relevant work skills acquisition and development ,that would stimulate the economy.
The N -Power volunteer corps involves massive deployment of 500 ,000 trained graduates who will assist to improve the inadequacies in Nigeria public services in education, health and civic education.

What is the fate of NPower First Batch Beneficiaries?

A lot of persons have been wondering what would happen to the first batch of NPower beneficiaries when the 2 years is over. It was gathered that the NPower batch one beneficiariesNPower batch one beneficiaries were worried about the Federal Government ’s delay in paying their March stipend/salary.

It was assumed that this was a plan by the Nigerian Federal Government to remove them from the program.

When do NPower Beneficiaries Get their monthly stipends/salary?

It is a well known fact that all things being equal, the NPower beneficiaries usually get their monthly salary on the 30th of every month.

However there seem to be a delay in receiving this monthly stipend.

People got worried when nothing was heard from the management of NPower on its communication platform (Twitter and Facebook).

We will like to inform you that from information gathered, all beneficiaries will receive their stipend this week.

The federal government is handling the issue, you are all advised not to panic.

The delay in payment is usually caused by the Ministry of Finance and the Accountant General’s Office.
The spokesman said contrary to what people think, the delay was not an attempt to exit the batch one beneficiaries from the programme, the batch two of the Npower beneficiary had equally not been paid .

“ It is not as if we had paid batch two and we did not pay batch one , there is a delay and I think the government has been consistent in payment .
“ The issues are being worked out between the Ministry of Finance and the Accountant General’s Office , and once these are resolved , the beneficiaries will get their stipend .
“ I am sure , this week , it will be resolved .”
