Qualifications and Experience Required

PROFESSOR:

• Ph.D. from a recognized institution in the relevant area of specialization.
• At least twelve (12) years of teaching and research experience in a university system.
• Proven supervisory and administrative capabilities.
• Scholarly publications in reputable journals.

READER/ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR:

• Ph.D. from a recognized institution in the relevant area of specialization.
• Ten (10) years of teaching and research experience in a university system.
• Proven supervisory and administrative capabilities.
• Scholarly publications in reputable journals.

SENIOR LECTURER:

• Ph.D. from a recognized institution in the relevant area of specialization.
• Seven (7) years of teaching and research experience in a university system.
• Proven supervisory and administrative capabilities.
• Scholarly publications in reputable journals.

LECTURER I:

• Master’s Degree from a recognized institution in the relevant area of specialization.
• Five (5) years of teaching and research experience.
• Ability to carry out research in the area of specialization.

LECTURER II:

• Master’s Degree in relevant area with at least two (2) years of teaching/research experience.

ASSISTANT LECTURER:

• Master’s Degree in relevant area with at least one (1) year of teaching/research experience.
