SMEDAN Update– The Small and Medium Enterprises Development Agency, SMEDAN has launched the Conditional Grant Scheme of the Federal Government.

The Director General of SMEDAN, Alhaji Umar Radda during the launching said that the scheme seeks to promote the activities of micro enterprises across the country, Nigeria.
This would be done by providing the micro enterprises with entrepreneurship training, business name registration, micro insurance and micro financial grant of Fifty thousand naira each.
The whole aim of this is to formalize the informal sector and make them easily targeted for government intervention.
The Director, Special Duties of SMEDAN, Hajia Safuya Balla said the beneficiaries would open account with the partner bank.
