NATCOM Recruitment (National Commission Recruitment)

The National Commission (NATCOM) recruitment for 2023/2024 has started; all interested and qualified applicants are advised to follow the application guidelines contained on this page.

What is NATCOM?

NATCOM means National Commission (NATCOM). It was formerly known as the National Task Force (NATFORCE). NATCOM aims to facilitate peace, volunteerism empowers, develops, and provides gainful employment for the youths, community services, neighborhood watch, and nation-building.

More so, it is aimed at training youths in ECOWAS States to Combat against illegal importation of small arms, ammunition, and light weapons across African sub-regions.

Qualifications and Requirements for NATCOM Recruitment Application

Applicants must not have less than 86cm (34 inches) expanded chest measurements (for men only).
Female Applicants must not be pregnant at the time of Recruitment.
Applicants must be free from any pecuniary embarrassment.
Applicants must print their completed online forms, and guarantor forms and submit same at the examination/screening and recruitment centers.
Applicants shall be of Nigerian origin by birth and possess a National Identity Number (NIN).
Applicants must possess a minimum of 5 credits in not more than 2 sittings in WASSCE/GCE/NECO/NABTEB with credit passes in English and Mathematics.
Applicants must be medically, physically, and psychologically fit and must not be less than 1.67m tall for males and 1.64m tall for female.

Candidates with the following should not apply

Bow legs Bent knees. i.e. knees that cannot be straightened when standing at attention.
Deformed Hands which cannot perform the full functions of the hand
Defective eyesight or squinted eyes
Amputation of any part of the body
Impediment in speech
Gross malformation of teeth or jaw preventing proper mastication of food.
Knock knees.
