NIGERIA POLICE ACADEMY APPLICATION 2018/2019- Apply for the Nigeria Police 6th Regular Course

Nigeria Police Academy 2018/2019 Application guidelines- This contains all the steps needed to properly apply for the 6TH REGULAR COURSE DEGREE PROGRAMME of the Nigerian Police.

In order to make the application process easy for you, we would be breaking the processes into various parts and for easy navigation each part would have a sub-heading. No need to stress yourself we are here to simplify all the steps involved and many more things.

We are using this medium to inform the general public that the sale of online application forms for admission into the 6th Regular Course of degree programme of the Nigeria Police Academy, Wudil, has begun. The sales of forms started on the 19th of March, 2018 and it is scheduled to end on the 24th of June, 2018.

Please note that this admission is open to both male and female Nigerians who possess good characters.

HOW TO APPLY

If you are interested in applying for admission into the academy, we advise you to visit the official website of the Nigeria Police Academy below

You will then obtain or generate Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR) Code.

This RRR code obtained would be used to make payment of N3,000 through any commercial Bank Branch in Nigeria.

Please also note that applicants must, in addition, apply through the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) as well as sit for the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).

NOTE- Only candidates who obtained the minimum UTME scores of 180 which is the Academy’s Cut-off mark in JAMB and purchased the Academy online Application Form will be eligible to sit for the Nigeria Police Academy Selection Examination. CHECK YOUR JAMB RESULT HERE

HOW TO SUBMIT APPLICATION PROPERLY

The applications are to be submitted only online. After submission of your application, you will be required to download an   Acknowledgement Form.

Please Note- Only candidates who meet the cut-off mark will be enabled to download and print their examination cards.

AVAILABLE COURSES

Courses leading to Bachelor’s degrees in the following disciplines are available in the Academy:

  1. FACULTY OF HUMANITIES. BA in:

English, History & International Studies

  1. FACULTY OF LAW: LLB
  2. FACULTY OF SCIENCE: BSc in:

Biochemistry, Biological Sciences, Chemistry, Mathematics, Physics

  1. FACULTY OF SOCIAL AND MANAGEMENT SCIENCES: BSc in:

Accounting, Management Sciences, Political Science, Sociology

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

  1. Only Nigerians citizens between 17 and 22 years of age can apply, and must have a height of not less than 67 Metres (5 Feet 6 Inches) for male, and 1.62 Metres (5 Feet 4 Inches) for female. Male candidates must have an expanded chest size of not less than 86cm (34 Inches for those between 21 and 22 years of age). All candidates must be free from any physical deformity or mental disability.
  2. Applicants must possess a minimum of SIX (6) credits at the Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination (WAEC, NECO or NABTEB) in not more than 2 sittings. English Language and Mathematics as well as subjects relevant to your chosen course of study in the Academy.
  3. You must also obtain satisfactory scores in both the written examination and the interview and must pass physical and psychological tests of fitness.

EXAMINATION DATE, CONDITIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

The Nigeria Police Academy, Wudil Selection Examination, may be Computer Based Test (CBT) or Pencil and Paper.

The examination shall comprise of a General Paper (Section A) which is compulsory for all candidates and it would cover areas such as general knowledge and current affairs, English Language and Mathematics, other sections are to be selected according to candidate’s Faculty of choice.

Exam Date- Saturday the 14th July, 2018.

Venue for Exam- The Nigeria Police Academy Selection Examination will be at19 designated Centres. The list of Centres is in the Academy Website.

Go to the examination venue with Acknowledgement Form, Examination Card, current JAMB Result Slip and two Postcard size photographs (3.5×5 Inches) At the back of each passport, the candidates must write their name, State of origin, Examination Centre and signature.

The list of successful candidates will be published on our website and in some national newspapers.
