- The work schedule for this position is: Full Time (40 hours per week)
- Start date: Candidate must be able to begin working within a reasonable period of time (6 weeks) of receipt of agency authorization and/or clearances / certifications or their candidacy may end.

Qualifications and Evaluations
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Information Technology, Economics, Finance, Marketing, Mass Communication or International Trade is required.
- Note: NYSC Certificate or Exemption document is required.
Experience:
- Three (3) years of progressively responsible experience in business, government or non-government organization (NGO) in the fields of marketing, trade promotion, economics, accounting, international trade or similar field is required.
Job Knowledge:
- Must be fully functional with standard Microsoft Office Suite applications and common office equipment.
- A basic knowledge of local business firms, trade practices, restrictions, organizations and customs; of marketing and sales techniques; of assigned industries and their potential for U.S. businesses and understanding of business due diligence investigations is required.
Evaluations:
- This may be tested. Please specify your level of proficiency in the language listed.
Language:
- Fluent in speaking / reading / writing of English is required.
Skills and Abilities:
- Must be able to work well with colleagues and the public; must be proficient and able to train on advanced level office staff in Microsoft Office Suite, as necessary, and database management software programs.
- Skills in use of graphics and related software, digital cameras and images/photograph management tools, e.g., Photoshop, Paint Shop Pro, scanners, DVD and CD burners, telecommunication programs, and videoconferencing equipment is required.
- Ability to work under pressure and to prioritize competing demands for assistance is required.
- Must have good telephone communication and interpersonal skills; ability to record data accurately and keep organized records; ability to meet and serve representatives of U.S. and host country business firms and other key personnel with tact and efficiency; ability to create and execute promotional campaigns.
- Must have skills in research and writing (e.g., executing on business inquiries for research) and the ability to learn Commerce client management programs, CS internal reporting requirements, operating procedures.
- Must be skilled at troubleshooting technical problems
- Basic knowledge of HTML/web design tools is required.

Agency Benefits:
- Locally Employed Staff, including Members of Household (MOHs), and Third-Country Nationals (TCNs), working at the U.S. Mission in Lagos, Nigeria may receive a compensation package that may include health, separation, and other benefits.
- For EFMs, benefits should be discussed with the Human Resources Office.
- The pay plan is assigned at the time of the conditional offer letter by the HR Office.
Salary
USD 43,507 (NGN 8,664,538) Annually.
